At Kalia Lab, we use the CO2 laser to tighten your eye area and permanently smooth out wrinkles. The CO2 laser uses a light beam that hits the top layer of skin and allows the water in the skin cells to evaporate. Fine layers of skin are thus removed and collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin is stimulated so that the skin is tightened and can regenerate. The result is a smooth and fresh eye area.

The right time for treatment varies from person to person. In general, it is recommended if you want to visibly tighten and rejuvenate your eye area.
For the eye area the treatment takes between 20 and 30 minutes. The anesthetic cream requires approx. 30 - 40 minutes to take effect beforehand.
Redness, swelling, and scaling/dry skin usually occur for about 5 to 7 days.
This depends on the skin's needs and the desired result. Significantly visible improvements can occur after just the first session.
Potential risks and side effects include redness, swelling, pigmentation changes, mild inflammation, and scarring.
- Avoid exposure to strong sunlight 4 weeks in advance (do not carry out the treatment immediately after the beach holiday).
- Avoid taking blood-thinning drugs, such as aspirin.
- Refrain from taking antibiotics 14 days before treatment.
- Refrain from drinking alcohol 12 hours before treatment.
- Show up for treatment without makeup (can also be removed on site if necessary).
