Treat scars effectively: whether acne, surgical, injury, or burn scars. Different kinds of scars require different treatments. We'll find the optimal treatment for your scars so that you can feel beautiful and confident again.
Scars occur when the second layer of skin (dermis) is damaged and the body creates collagen to replace the damaged tissue. Depending on the depth and type of injury, the healing process may be more uneven, which influences scar formation. Atrophic scars, hypertrophic scars or keloids require individual treatments for optimal results. At Kalia Lab, we offer a range of treatments to reduce scars: from radio frequency needling to CO2 laser treatments, autohemotherapy or cosmetic treatments. At Kalia Lab, we find the right way to effectively treat your scars and make your skin glow again.

Every scar is unique and requires the optimal treatment. To address individual needs, a thorough consultation and understanding of your skin are essential. As skin experts, we take responsibility in offering you the best treatment and taking both your needs and your skin’s needs into account.
We offer a variety of treatments, including minimally invasive options like radiofrequency needling, PRP, medication therapies (e.g., cortisone), laser and light therapies (CO2 laser or IPL), cryotherapy, polynucleotides, Botox, and cosmetic treatments like microdermabrasion or microneedling. We will identify the optimal treatment for your individual needs.
We offer a range of treatments to effectively reduce scars, including C-section and surgical scars. These can also be treated at Kalia Lab.
Radiofrequency needling is a good option for treating acne scars. However, the most suitable method depends on your individual skin, and it’s best to determine this in a consultation.
The CO2 laser removes skin in a fractional manner, allowing the skin to renew itself and reduce scars. Radiofrequency needling stimulates the body’s natural collagen production using fine needles and radiofrequency energy, improving the skin’s structure and texture and effectively treating scars.
This depends on both the treatment and the location of the scar. Some treatments require avoiding sun exposure, so they are not recommended during the summer months. However, if the scar is located in an area covered by clothing, treatment can be carried out even in the summer months.
For deep scars, the following treatments are recommended:
- Fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing: An effective method for improving the appearance of deep scars. The laser stimulates collagen production and smooths the skin.
- Microneedling (often combined with PRP): Tiny micro-injuries created by needles stimulate collagen production, leading to long-term improvement of skin relief.
- Dermal fillers like collagen boosters: For very deep scars, filling with fillers like hyaluronic acid can adjust the skin level and create a smoother surface.
- Subcision: This technique involves cutting the scar tissue under the skin to release sunken scars and stimulate new connective tissue growth.
For raised scars or keloids, the following treatments are recommended:
- Cortisone injections: One of the most effective methods to reduce raised scars. Cortisone reduces inflammation and inhibits scar tissue, making the scar flatter
- Silicone sheets and silicone gels: These products help smooth raised scars and can be applied over the long term
- Laser therapy (e.g., dye laser): The laser can reduce redness and help soften scar tissue
- Cryotherapy: Freezing the scar can reduce and soften the tissue, especially for smaller, raised scars.
This depends on several factors, including the depth of the scar, the type of scar, and how fresh it is. It also depends on the individual skin’s ability to regenerate. However, with our treatments, scars can be significantly reduced and the overall appearance improved.
We charge a consultation fee of 59 €. If a treatment is booked and carried out afterward, this amount will be deducted from the treatment cost.
