Vascular laser treatment can be used to target vascular lesions such as spider veins, angiomas, dilated blood vessels, rosacea symptoms, hemangiomas and other vascular changes to promote a smoother complexion.
At Kalia Lab, we use vascular laser treatment to correct vascular structures under the skin without damaging the uppermost layers of the skin. Laser treatments are generally recommended during the season when there is less sunshine. From September to May is the right time for a laser treatment.
Very slight pain may occur. In general, many people describe the vascular laser as very painless.
Depending on the indications, 1 to 3 sessions may be necessary for the treatment of vessels. Follow-up treatments should take place at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks.
Possible risks or side effects include redness for 24 to 48 hours and a feeling of tightness or dryness in the treated areas.
- Do not go sunbathing (solarium, vacation, etc.) for at least 1 week before the treatment
- Keep 1 week away from other treatments (microneedling/acid peeling/microdermabrasion)
- It is best to come to your treatment without make-up. Your face will be cleansed on site before the treatment
- If possible, cool the treated area for approx. 1 hour
- Avoid contact with water or steam on the treated areas on the day of treatment
- Apply Skin Repair Cream 3 - 4 times a day for 4 - 7 days. After that you can continue your normal skin care routine
- Avoid applying make-up or aggressive products to the treated areas for the next 24 hours
- Refrain from sweaty sports for the next 48 hours- Avoid saunas or heat for the next 48 hours
- Apply SPF 50 daily to the treated areas for at least 4 weeks- Keep approx. 1 week away from other treatments (microneedling/acid peel/microdermabrasion)
